A Size 3?

Posted on April 4, 2008 - Filed Under gap, havaianas, hk shopping, wet seal

Photobucket I asked my daughter to buy that patch shorts at Wet Seal when she went to the US for a short vacation. And you know what? She got me a size 3. I was a bit disappointed when I saw it, since when was I a size 3, I asked her. Anyways I really love it so I thought of a way so I will be able to use it. There that explains the outfit. I had to wear it over a denim short just so it won’t fall ^_^. I know it looks awkward but who cares!

I know it’s Hot

Photobucket  I bought that tank (export overrun) in Greenhills.  I still find it expensive at P250…haha I can be shrewd at times.  The tank was just too low, it’s ok if I have something to show, lol, but the thing is it’s flat as a wall.  So I wore something under, haha do I look conservative?  I kinda like my look here, I was able to conceal my six pack, boo! I mean flabs.

BlueGreen

Photobucket As usual, the top is another 168 shopping find. What do you think? It’s pretty right? Haha, why am I forcing people to like it, duh! But really, I love this top and the color too, a different shade of blue(?) green(?), not the usual.   I like the fit and how it was structured.  And one more thing, it hid my belly, bleh!

Mommy Top

Daughter Ish calls it “Mommy top”, probably because of the silky material. But when I wore it already she was saying something like, “Oh Mom, you have a nice top.” Duh! I thought you said it’s mommy stuff, and now you’re saying it’s pretty? “But, but, it looks good on you. How come when it’s just lying in the cabinet I don’t find it attractive?” Oh well…. (fill in the blanks) bleh!

Black is Beautiful

I usually look good in black, well that is according to some of my friends.  I used to wear black a lot, but seems like nowadays I’m more experimental when it comes to colors.  I really love the fit of that U2 top.  I bought that eon years ago, but still loves to wear it every now and then.  The color has faded a bit, but who cares!  As I’ve said I love the fit, it does not make me look thin nor fatso, just right ^_^.

Chicken(iest) Legs

I seldom wear mini skirts coz I feel like I have the chicken(iest) legs one can ever have. It really stuck when someone commented about me having chicken legs. Yeah I get conscious and all, but I don’t know why I can wear short shorts and not mini skirts. Probably because those chicken legs are not noticeable in shorts. Ok, I was kidding about the “long shapely legs thingy.”

Brown

Another 168 Shopping find. Yeah I’m really lucky because I get to find cool clothes in 168. Why should I go to Rockwell’s Lifestyle when I can get the same stuff in 168 for less, less is like 80% off, yeah I’m not kidding! I wore that dress in one of our coverages. The brown peep toe was sent to me by my beloved sister.

Malling

I always make it a point to dress comfortably when I go to the mall. Tee, jeans and sneakers is what I think of when it comes to comfy outfits. I really love my pink gola sneakers which I bought at Off 5th. I think this edition is made to be sold at Saks only, well that’s what it said.

Concert

Since the concert was held in a hotel, I thought of dressing up a bit. Not the usual for me actually. I call it more of a formal dressing. It’s nice to look chic once in a while you know. Oh and for a bit of an accent in that black outfit, I brought with me the red biggie bag I bought in Greenhills. It was perfect!

Burst of Colors

When I saw that silky little dress at 168 Mall, I immediately fell in love with it. I love the print and the colors too. It’s not all the time that you see that kind of print here. And since I wore that in one of our wedding coverages, I thought of wearing that leggings which I bought in Marks and Spencers and the “trench” which I bought in Hong Kong. I easily get cold and I can’t stand the strong a/c in hotels. You like my kenneth cole peep toe? It was given by my sisters.

Shall We Dance?

I’ve been looking for a midrib top to be used when I go belly dancing. Good thing the mother of one of my dancing buddies thought of making some for us. I bought a lot, in different vibrant colors. I wanna look good too when dancing you know. With the mirrors around us and all, it pays to look good, harhar. I wish I can find more bottoms like that, it’s worn out now. Or maybe I can have one or two made. Hmmmm time to go shop for the materials needed.

Heehee, my hair looks really funny there. I should brush up more on my photoshop. Anyways, I took extra effort in dressing up that day. Again, my daughter would call that “mommy dressing”. When she’s not used to seeing me in outfits that I usually wear, she immediately refers it to that. To tell you honestly, sometimes it keeps me thinking if I can still get away wearing tank tops. At 41 I should be wearing something like linen tops (more like blouses) and all. So once in a while I go for “mommy dressing”.

Oh my gosh! I can’t believe that I still have that top hiding in my closet. I’m glad I didn’t give it away. It’s one of a kind, of course it should be, it’s the fashion 7 years ago, haha. I look so girlie-gurl there, virginal…haha I’m just kidding.

I love the details on that top. Those are laces sewn on the shirt to give that pretty detail. I actually bought 3 colors, that gray, a pink and a lilac. My daughter loves it too, and would you believe she ransacks my closet when she runs out of something to wear. We are about the same size, well I’m a little bigger though ^_^.

Off to the Grocery

Hehe going to the grocery all made up! It’s because I went to Rustan’s. Who knows I might end up malling too. Wearing a white top really makes one look fresh and clean. I don’t have too many white tops, hhhmmm maybe I should be stocking up on white tops starting today.

Comfy

Photobucket  That’s how I look whenever I take the public ride.  I honestly don’t like to drive around Metro Manila because of the heavy traffic.  I’d rather take the LRT and ride the PUJ.  It’s less tiring and it takes me to places in no time, and I save half on travel time.
